Conduct a Food and Funds Drive

Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and depends on donations of food and funds to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors.

To collect food and/or funds to help feed hungry Mahoning Valley families:

  • All food drives and events should be approved by the Food Bank. If you have any questions, please call 330.792.5522 ext. 108.
  • Collection boxes and barrels are available at the Food Bank. Collection materials may be picked up from and then returned to the Food Bank.
  • Food and funds collected may be delivered to the Food Bank located at 2805 Salt Springs Road in Youngstown at the conclusion of the drive, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Bagful or truckload, food donations provide meals to local families. The Food Bank accepts all non-perishable food items.

  • Peanut butter
  • Cereal
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruit
  • Tuna fish
  • Dry pasta
  • Canned soup
  • Macaroni and cheese
