Cortland Banks is teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank for the month of March to help generate donations of food and funds to those in our Valley who need it most. During the month of March, Cortland Banks will make a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley for every checking account* opened. In addition, each new customer that mentions Harvest for Hunger will have a $25.00 donation made out in his/her name to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. The community is also invited to drop off non-perishable food items at any Cortland Banks Branch in the Mahoning Valley during the month of March. Cortland Banks’ employees will also be showing their support by wearing their “Send Hunger Packing” tee-shirts each Friday during the month of March.
“As a local bank, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our community. Partnering with Second Harvest offers a meaningful way to help support our neighbors. We created this program to spread awareness and increase food donations as well as funds. Together, we can help feed the Valley,” said Sara Smith, marketing and communications director for Cortland Banks.
