During the month of March, Cortland Banks’ Mahoning & Trumbull county branches will make a $25 donation to Second Harvest for every new checking account opened. 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts of America
Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio #807 is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts of America with “Can Cakes” at Arby’s restaurants in Canfield, Howland & Poland. With a minimum donation of two cans of food, customers will receive a coupon for a Value Fry.
Drop off Sites for the Month of March
During Harvest for Hunger, non-perishable food items may be dropped off at any Giant Eagle, Sparkle Market, K-Mart or Cortland Bank location. Additional locations are K-Mart Super Store in Warren and Linens & More for Less in Warren.
Free Donut at Dunkin' Donuts
Stop by your Dunkin Donut location with a non-perishable food donation and receive a FREE donut during the month of March.
Scrapbook Studio and Training Center

The Centers for Hearing Care hosting a 'Food Fight'
The Centers for Hearing Care are having a “Food Fight” through their offices in Austintown, Boardman, Columbiana, Howland, Liberty and Salem during the month of March. The community is invited to drop-off monetary and non-perishable food donations at any of their offices. In addition, The Centers for Hearing Care is offering a matching gift of up to $2,000! ConAgra Foods Launches “Child Hunger Ends Here”
Now through the month of May, ConAgra will feature Child Hunger Ends Here on
specially marked packages of their top nine brands including: Healthy Choice,
Chef Boyardee, Banquet, Orville Redenbacher’s, Marie Callender’s, Peter Pan,
Hunts, Hunts Manwich and Snack Pack.
Customers are encouraged to enter the eight digit SKU code at
www.childhungerendshere.com to trigger a 1 meal donation to Feeding America.
In exchange for the entry, the customer will receive a free download by Jewel,
Jay Sean or Owl City. – Codes can be entered online through August 31, 2012.
By entering your zip code on the website, the Food Bank becomes eligible for a
$10,000 award from ConAgra.
General Mills and Sam’s Club “Outnumber Hunger”
Through the month of May, General Mills will have “Outnumber Hunger” on some of their specially marked products. Customers are encouraged to visit www.outnumberhunger.com and enter the code on the package. Each code entered will trigger a 10 meal donation to Feeding America. Customers that enter the code will receive a free song download from one of twelve Big Machine Label Group artists.

Coffee for a Cause
Starting March 12 through March 31 Panera Bread will generously donate .25 cents for every cup of coffee purchased to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank at Austintown, Boardman, Canfield, Niles, Warren & Hermitage locations. View the event flyer.

Lucky Llamas 4H Club
Stop by Quality Pet Mart -5543 Mahoning Ave- Austintown and see the Llucky Llamas. They will be collecting food and funds for Second Harvest Food Bank.
