"What are we here for but to make life a little less difficult for each other? It is my belief that volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank is doing just that. With so much need right here in the Valley we can all do something to lessen the load for each other. It is fulfilling to be working with so many volunteers and staff with that same goal. No matter how small the task, whether it be answering the phone or sorting through canned goods, the end result is far greater. As Mother Teresa said, ‘In this life we cannot do great things.
