Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to the mission at Second Harvest. There are countless ways you can make a difference. Every time you volunteer with the food bank, you know that you have helped put food on the table of our neighbors in need. Volunteers are critical in our efforts to provide healthy, nutritious food to our community, so please consider helping out as an individual, small group or organization. Here at the food bank, we are helping to improve the lives of our community who are facing hunger, but we can’t do it alone. Join us in the fight against hunger today

Please complete the request form in the section below to get on our waiting list. Volunteer groups require a minimum of 5 volunteers to work their scheduled shift. If this minimum can’t be met, the group will be cancelled.

Thank you for your time and generosity in supporting Second Harvest Food Bank. Your efforts truly make a difference in helping feed many hungry families in our community.

The Food Bank is a volunteer-dependent organization and relies on volunteers from community groups, businesses, religious organizations, schools, and civic organizations. Our volunteers donated 10,624 hours of service in 2023 to ensure their friends and neighbors had food to eat.
