During the month of July, Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout Mahoning Valley will be selling icons for a $1 donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank as part of 21 WFMJ’s Project: Feed Our Valley campaign. The icons will be signed and hung in the restaurants and for every icon purchased, the Food Bank will be able to distribute $15 worth of food to those in need.
“We are grateful to 21 WFMJ for facilitating this year-round partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts,” said Mike Iberis, executive director, Second Harvest Food Bank. “This partnership is taking place at a great time of year because donations are typically down during the summer months and requests for food assistance increase with children out of school,” said Iberis.
