Home Savings Launches Home-Aid Meals Initiative

Home Savings is launching a Home-Aid Meals initiative to collect food and funds to help feed hungry people in the communities the bank serves. Their goal is to collect 50,000 meals for the these communities.

Each branch will be accepting non-perishable food items now through December 1. Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley will receive the food from the following branches:

  • 6030 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown
  • 7525 Market Street, Boardman
  • 29 North Broad Street, Canfield
  • 4259 Kirk Road, Youngstown
  • 3500 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown
  • 202 South Main Street, Poland

A complete list of organizations benefiting from Home-Aid Meals is on the Home Aid Meals page of the bank's website.

The second component of this initiative is a Facebook campaign to raise funds.  For every “Like” Home Savings receives from Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull county residents, Home Savings will donate $1.00 to the Food Bank. Each “Like” equals $15 worth of food distributed to our hungry friends and neighbors in the tri-county area.  Click here if you would like to participate in the Facebook campaign.
