River Rock at the Amp to Support Second Harvest Food Bank

On Saturday, August 24, River Rock at the Amp presents Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes.  Bring a non-perishable food item or make a monetary donation at the gate and receive a raffle ticket for a guitar autographed by Michael Stanley, and a chance to win two tickets to the Michael Stanley concert on October 12 at W. D. Packard Music Hall. All food and funds collected benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

The Warren Community Amphitheatre is located at 321 Mahoning Avenue, N.W. Warren, OH  44483.  The gates open at 5:00 p.m.; The Main Street Lions play at 5:30 p.m.; and Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes hit the stage at 8:30 p.m.  Visit www.RiverRockattheAmp.com for more show information.

“We extend our thanks to Sunrise Entertainment for selecting the Food Bank to benefit from this event,” said Michael Iberis, executive director Second Harvest Food Bank.  “Last year, we saw a 14% increase in the number of people visiting our member agencies for food.  Every dollar raised and can of food collected at the concert is going to go a long way toward helping us meet this ever-increasing need for food in our community,” said Iberis.
