5th Annual Livestock Auction at Canfield Fair

Join us at the Canfield Fair Livestock Auction/Sale in the 4-H Coliseum, Building # 8 where you or your company or organization may purchase livestock to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley for distribution to hungry families in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties.  

Livestock available to purchase for donation to the Food Bank include market beef, hogs, poultry-broilers, turkeys, goats and lambs.  
Auction / Sale Thursday, August 29
5:30 p.m. – Market Goats

6:30 p.m. – Market Lambs, Carcass Lambs, Market Hogs

Auction / Sale Friday, August 30
5:30 p.m.  – Market Poultry – Broilers and Turkeys, Goat Milk Fudge, Market Rabbits

7:00 p.m. – Market Beef, Market Feeders
Livestock purchased to be donated to the Food Bank will be processed by Chamberlain Farms and Lehman’s Poultry.  Processing fees will be added to the purchase price (market beef will be $0.35; hogs will be $0.50; lambs and goats will be $1.20; broilers $2.50 and turkeys $12.50 per pound). MasterCard, Visa, personal check and cash will be accepted.  All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

The Food Bank's mission is to solicit, store, and distribute food to hunger-relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties; and to provide education and advocacy. We believe that no one should go hungry, and we are dedicated to building a community that makes food accessible to all people.
