Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and Stambaugh Chorus to Host the 3rd Annual Holiday Concert of Giving

The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and Stambaugh Chorus will host the 3rd annual Holiday Concert of Giving to raise money to feed hungry families in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties on Sunday, December 15 at 4:00 p.m. at historic Stambaugh Auditorium.  Admission is a cash donation to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, conducted by Joe Pellegrini, and the Stambaugh Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Hae-Jong Lee, will perform many holiday favorites, including selections from the Polar Express, Russian Christmas Music, White Christmas and the Hallelujah Chorus.  For every $1 given at the concert, the Food Bank can distribute $15 worth of food to families that need it most this holiday season.

“We are thrilled that these two incredible groups have decided to collaborate for the third year in a row for this great holiday performance to help feed people in our community,” said Michael Iberis, executive director, Second Harvest Food Bank.  “Admission is a cash donation of any amount, and we invite the entire community to join us and enjoy an evening filled with great local holiday music.”
