Armstrong Street Scene Car & Custom Bike Show to Benefit Food Bank

Join Armstrong for the Street Scene Car & Custom Bike Show on Sunday, June 8, at Shepherd Self Storage, 7469 South Avenue in Boardman, from 12 pm until 4 pm. Vehicle registration is from 9 am until 12 pm, $10 per car/bike.

Spectator admission is free. Donate a non-perishable food item for a free raffle ticket. In partnership with Breaking Bread—Armstrong’s ongoing effort to feed the hungry in local communities—proceeds will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Street Scene will feature The Big Bad Dodge—a 1964 Dodge 330 drag race car with a limited-production 426 race Hemi engine and 125MPH speed record—courtesy of Don Snyder.

Up for grabs are 26 First Place awards, 26 Second Place awards and 2 Grand Champion awards, plus goodie bags, dash plaques, and door prize ticket to the first 200 registrants. Clear Channel’s Thomas John will spin the tunes. There will also be concessions by Roberto’s Restaurant, a Chinese auction and 50/50.

Rick Gurrera, host of the Street Scene television series, will be joined by guest host Krysta Sylvester to round out the excitement with a live recording for the series premier. In its sixth season, Rick has toured local and regional car and bike shows, featuring the most awesome rides for this popular television program on Armstrong Channel 20.
