Armstrong Is Collecting Boxes of Macaroni & Cheese September 18 for Hunger Action Month

Armstrong, located at 9328 Woodworth Road in North Lima, will be accepting boxes of macaroni and cheese in honor of Hunger Action Month and their Just Say Cheese campaign as part of Armstrong’s Breaking Bread Initiative.

Sally Jones, office manager, Armstrong, started this collection this past March, and has collected 1,176 boxes of macaroni & cheese to help feed our friends and neighbors in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties.  Take action on Thursday, September 18, and drop-off boxes of macaroni & cheese at Armstrong between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  All donations will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

“Food Bank member agencies are filling more than 15,000 requests for emergency food assistance in the tri-county area, and we simply could not do what we do without the continued support of great friends like Sally and Armstrong,” said Michael Iberis, executive director, Second Harvest Food Bank.
