Salem Car Wash Washes Away Hunger

Salem Car Wash, located at 1041 E. State Street presents Wash Away Hunger. Anyone who donates a non-perishable food item now through November 27 will receive $1 off a car wash.  In addition, Salem Car Wash will donate $2 for each “The Works” or “Ultimate” car wash purchased through the 27th.  For every $1 given, the Food Bank can distribute $15 worth of food, or approximately six meals to hungry families in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

“We greatly appreciate the continued support of Salem Car Wash,” said Mike Iberis, executive director Second Harvest Food Bank.  “Last year, $1,312 was donated through Wash Away Hunger, which enabled the Food Bank to distribute $19,620 worth of food to our friends and neighbors in the Mahoning Valley.”
