Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley announced today a $3,000 grant from The Darden Foundation to help feed hungry families in the Mahoning Valley.
“We are grateful for the continued support of The Darden Foundation to help us feed hungry people in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, said Michael Iberis, executive director, Second Harvest Food Bank. Each week, the food bank member agencies are filling more than 13,000 requests for food assistance.”
Second Harvest Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America® network, is one of 193 food banks to receive this funding from The Darden Foundation.
