Volunteer
Why Volunteer?
By taking the time to volunteer, you are helping your community and lending a hand to serve a greater good. But besides being able to help others, volunteering also has a great impact on you as an individual. Volunteering can help you make new friends, realize hidden talents, develop people skills, build your resume, and boost self-confidence.
How do I start?
To start volunteering, you must first fill out the Volunteer Information Form, which is available for download below. After filling out the form you can call Rita Brady, Volunteer Coordinator / Office Manager at 330-792-5522 ext. 11 to discuss volunteer opportunities. If you are hosting a group of volunteers, each person is required to fill out the Volunteer Information Form. For groups of 5 of more, the Food Bank will be open Wednesday evenings from 5 PM - 7 PM, and Saturday mornings from 9 AM - Noon.
