September is Hunger Action Month, when we ask everyone in our community to take action against hunger in our area, all month long. Hunger Action Month is your opportunity to join a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our effort to feed more hungry individuals and families facing food insecurity.  

To benefit Second Harvest The event consists of three races: a 1K “Fun Run”, targeting kids under 10 years of age, and both a 2-Mile and a 5-Mile run open to all ages. 

Orange is the color of hunger. This Hunger Action Day, let's join together by wearing orange, turning our city landmarks orange, and raising our voices all across the country on behalf of the millions of people facing hunger.

Gather your friends and family to join us for a feast that will pleasure your palate and change your perspective on vegetables. Our plants have a purpose to improve your health and the health of our community. Enjoy this gourmet, multi-course meal while supporting a great cause. You will have the opportunity to hear briefly from experts about the benefits of plant-based living, but the focus of the evening will be kept on enjoying the fabulous cuisine.
