To benefit Second Harvest The event consists of three races: a 1K “Fun Run”, targeting kids under 10 years of age, and both a 2-Mile and a 5-Mile run open to all ages.
The Winter Celebration @ Fellow Riverside Gardens that showcases Holiday Trees on display in the Davis Education and Visitor Center between December 4th through January 7th. Area non-profits decorate the trees. Extended hours will be on Saturday, December 4th, 11th and 18th until 7:00 p.m.
The Holiday Concert of Giving featuring the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, Dana Chorale and the Stambaugh Chorus will be on Sunday, December 12th from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. The concert is free, attendees are asked to donate money at the door to the food bank.
Orange is the color of hunger. This Hunger Action Day, let's join together by wearing orange, turning our city landmarks orange, and raising our voices all across the country on behalf of the millions of people facing hunger.
Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley will display a scarecrow during the month of October for Mill Creek MetroParks’ Pumpkin Walk Celebration. The scarecrows will be on display in the Children’s Gardens at Fellows Riverside Gardens from October 1st through October 31st, 2022 for the public to enjoy.

Stambaugh Chorus and Youngstown Area Community Concert Band present a Holiday Concert of Giving with 100% proceeds benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.
The concert will begin with the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and concluding with the Canfield Community Band. A food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank - a bag of dry and can goods collected before the concert.
