Volunteers are essential to the mission at Second Harvest. There are countless ways you can make a difference. Every time you volunteer with the food bank, you know that you have helped put food on the table of our neighbors in need. Volunteers are critical in our efforts to provide healthy, nutritious food to our community, so please consider helping out as an individual, small group or organization by completing one of the request forms in the sections below to get on our waiting list.

Please note that volunteer groups require a minimum of 5 volunteers to work their scheduled shift. If this minimum can’t be met, the group will be cancelled.

The Food Bank is a volunteer-dependent organization and relies on volunteers from community groups, businesses, religious organizations, schools, and civic organizations.
